BIO  –  Amy Briand

Amy Briand is the Clerical Support Worker of the Mood Disorders Society of Canada – Montreal Office for the Transitions to Communities Project.

Amy is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in International Business with a minor in Marketing at Concordia University. She previously worked for her University’s Student Success Centre in the mathematics tutorial department specifically working with a student who has been identified in need of additional support.

She also has several years of volunteer experience at senior resident homes, assisting the recreational therapists and organizing patient activities.

Amy is well aware of the importance regarding services and support programs military families and veterans need, with several family members being veterans themselves this allows her a personal perspective and motivation in her commitment to Transitions to Communities.
