I am not 100% sure but from what I have noticed from being online to offline for the forum does make a difference. If it holds true for someone that is not a member they will only be able to read the first post but no further in the thread. That is my finding so far.

Forum is open to the public and if you actually do a search some of you posting will show up on Google. Chances are a good majority of you that how you found us to start off with.
You do have to be a member to look at member information, That we have restricted.
