Has anyone on this forum been treated for bipolar depression with Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS)?
Was it helpful, did it work?
For how long did the benefits of rTMS last?

Hi Dave,

While I do not have personal experience with this, I have heard from a friend that it has helped her. However, she was on meds and therapy at the time too, so it could be a mix of factors. I am not sure whether you are asking for yourself, but if so, have you spoken to your doctor about it?

Hi Dave, I just saw your post now. I deal with depression rather than bipolar, but wouldn't mind learning about rTMS also. I've heard it mentioned from time to time and it seems to be a life saver for some. I will watch for more posts to see if we can glean more info. Meanwhile, I wish you all the best.
