Hi, friends,
I really need some help and hoping some of you have had this experience or can help me in any way. From a young age, I was always shy. Whenever my family members come to my house I would get so nervous. Even at school, I was the shy one. I still had friends throughout school. I hated speaking on the phone to anyone. I believe I am more anxious around people who I feel are more intelligent than me. It makes me even more anxious that I'm going to make a fool out of myself.
Basically, my anxiety and stress levels go up massively when I am out of the house as I have to deal with strangers. One of my friends, who is aware of my situation suggested consulting an anxiety disorder therapist in Toronto to overcome this situation.
I too agreed with her to consult a therapist. Can anyone suggest me an experienced anxiety disorder therapist in Toronto?
