New Registration Procedures to Reduce Spam

Good afternoon all

I have enabled a feature which allows us to validate new members before they are classified as registered members and are allowed to post. This should reduce the spam.

I just found that email in my emails and verified myself - thanks for this new feature to block those who don't belong here - it's tough enough in the outside world getting laughed at as being THE JOKE in the workplace, even in the coffee shop with "friends," I sometimes feel like they're strangers because I can't connect to the world like they do, but I know it's not their fault - they're "normal" in their chemicals, and I'm the one "off" so it's nice to be here with those who understand the problem of BEING the problem "out there...."

Thanks, Woody. I'll have to try to figure out how to get some sort of picture on my profile like you did - but I'm not that computer savvy and don't want to use an actual picture of myself, obviously. How did you put that picture in there? Just curious....

Click on User CP (at the top left). That will get you into your profile. Click on edit profile picture.. You can use an image from another website, or upload one from your computer. Was it a picture on your computer or one from the web you want to use? Let us know and we can give you step by step directions on how to.
