Uni, thanks for "specifically looking for this thread", if not i might never have found it.

AJ, thanks for writing and sharing "The Place" with us.
For me, It perfectly describes the terrifying feeling you have when you are overcone with a bipolar episode, and you are right, it thrusts you right back to the previous episode, just like you never left, even if you have had years of stability in between.
The good thing is this scary feeling starts to leave again the more stable we get.

It seems that in the mornings I feel very lonely. So I will often phone someone but some days nobody is available. That is why I'm posting right now. I guess I just have nobody to talk to and could use some company. So this forum is the company, I guess, even though I have nothing too interesting to say. Ho-hum. That's it for now, catch you later.

Hello Uni. If I thought that AJ wouldn't have a stroke, I would give you my phone #(my wife doesn't care if I get phone calls from females as long as they are a couple thousand km away). Besides I don't accept collect calls.

Did you know that excessive talking on the phone can be a sign of mania? Not sure why I know that or if you will care.

When you are bored is there a chat line that specializes in one of your hobbies. ( I dislike MSN so I wouldn't know for sure) I have a bro-in-law who likes hunting and spends hours chatting about that.

It seems to me that Merelyme08 is one person on this forum with their msn address listed, there may be more, I just saw hers today.

Boredom is often a problem for me, but it means I am not getting into problems. (most times) Take Care. If your reaaaaly bored pick one or more of us and exchange emails, then just write back and forth, it might not work, but then it might. Take Care. paul m
