On Friday we said goodbye to our precious kitty

We said goodbye to our kitty on Friday. She was 18 years old and still to the end chased other cats out of our yard. We had a vet come to the house and we were so glad we were able to do that for her. She always got so stressed at the vet clinic.

There are so many things in our home that remind me of her. Her favourite chair, the place her food dish was, the absence of her little blanket, her morning greeting, and so much more.

Our dog is missing her too. On Friday evening she laid down right beside the spot our cat used to settle herself.

Chiquita showed up at our door one day, and that was it. She adopted us. We are so glad that she chose to become part of our family and she will be missed terribly.

Hi AJ. Thank you for letting us know how things have gone. I know you loved that kitty cat, and will miss her greatly. I wish I could have met the sweet thing, I'm sure she was beautiful. I want to post a hug icon but it doesn't work properly, so ((hugs)) to you.

You have to turn HTML on. Thanks for the hugs.
