    How is everyone?

I'm just wondering how everyone on the forum is doing these days, because it's been super quiet on here!

I'm still here. I have to admit I've been struggling lately. These Covid restrictions, while necessary, are dreary. Thankfully here I can still go for walks, and I'm managing to go on a few hikes. I am sure I'm not alone with my Covid fatigue.

I'm also having some health challenges on more than one front. I think I'll feel better when it all gets sorted out. I am fortune to have a family doctor who tirelessly advocates for me. I wouldn't be able to see these specialists without her doing that. Now if I could just have an in person appt. with my psychiatrist.

Family stuff can also be challenging and I seem to be struggling with a lot of emotions about that. Ugh.

On a positive note, Bella & I went on a walk in the wind and rain, yuck, but we saw an amazing rainbow!

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I am hoping to be able to contribute and in return learn from you all and support you where I can. I am struggling currently with bipolar depression. I came down/off a mixed episode a couple months ago. I just had my second ECT treatment this morning. I have been through ECT before. I work in the disability claims industry and I have been in the closet so to speak for 20+ years with my problems just trying to survive like everyone else. But, it cost me everything in my life because I was scared to get treatment and ask for help because of stigma. I would like to see this improved.

Hi Goalieknees and welcome to the forum. The stigma is sadly alive and well, even among some health care workers. I take solace in knowing that even though I can't change the world, I can educate those who are open to it. It does get weary at times, and it is especially hard if you are in the work force.

Hi laojuntasa. Is the vaccine supply an issue where you live? Once you get that second dose you'll have excellent coverage. Hopefully more people will get vaccinated to get better community protection. I know we still have to be careful, we're not out of the woods yet, but on our way to a better summer then last year.

How do you like working from home?

Doing okay. Totally forgot I was on here from awhile back and I'm interested in doing the 2 day Peer Support work shop. Has anyone else completed that and got their Certificate?

Hello kek1977. I find the idea of peer support very interesting, so I too would be interested in hearing more.
