my gp was trying to give me something for my fibro and kidney disease pain since the gov't and media has decided that taking oxyco is for street addicts. Note that renal colic is number 4 for pain, RA and cancer being higher on the list. I found though the tramadol was a bit like wellbertrin in the shocks I was feeling in my head in other words good for pain but hints that like the wellebrtin I was going to have another med induced grand mal.

Tramadol can lower the seizure threshold and increase your chances of a seizure. It is not a common occurrence but if you have epilepsy you are already at risk of seizures.
Oxycontin is still available under the name Oxyneo. The drug company modified the drug formula to make it more difficult for abusers to use it. When added to water it forms a gel like form which cannot cannot be injected. (Of course they'll figure out how to get round that at some point).AJ

amazing how they keep trying to give me stuff that will trigger the seizures which has happened but oh no even without every being an addict let's not relieve the pain forget that it drives what little sanity I have out. I swear one step forward, then steps back. I keep my nose clean etc. Even the specialists knows that I will only hit the ER when my kidneys stops output shall we say. Basically at that point 4 hours before sepsis can start other than that I avoid the er and they really pumped me up on a major cocktail of pain drugs, hospitals have way too many germs. I've even avoided going that route with 3 stones over 7.5mm and that wasn't including the "multiples" in the pockets of the kidneys (hence where they build up due to the birth defect).Comment
