Thanks - I think "don't give up hope" has become my mantra of late!
Last night we talked a little and he expressed (once pushed and prodded a bit, of course) that he was still very angry with me for bringing up therapy. My first reaction is to just back off, but I know that's not going to help. It's a fine line...how do you remain supportive, while still encouraging him to get help, when he's so adamant that he doesn't need it! Right now he is definitely in the "I'm all better, it's just SAD, it must be because there's more sun now and I'm feeling fine" phase! And yet this phase also brings on thoughts of "I need to plan something magnificent...I think I'll sell the house and buy a farm! Oh wait...I'm in a relationship? Hmmm...how am I going to get out of that one???"
Sigh.
Don't give up hope, don't give up hope, don't give up hope!
