Yesterday I had a bit of a crisis, and a friend talked me through it.

Today the girls from work are taking me out for a farewell lunch.

Kaight, those deals sound great. I've never mastered the art of Kijiji and am in awe of those who have! Speaking of sewing machines, I dug mine out a couple of weeks ago (haven't used it in many years) and now I sit looking at it and still not using it I hope you have fun sewing!

The good thing I have to report is that I had some discomfort in my jaw and ear over the long weekend, thought it might be a tooth, but it subsided. I have a dental checkup booked but not until January. However, if the problem returns they'll get me in right away. Personally I think it's from clenching my jaw (bruxism). I wear a night guard which may need replacing. Anyway for now it's not bothering me, so that's good (This is me trying to practice living in the present and not projecting disaster around every corner. Getting a little better at it. Which in itself is a good thing, now that I think of it.)

Yesterday I missed class because I was feeling lousy... and I have to be feeling *REALLY* lousy to skip!! But this morning I'm feeling good and ready to rock again.

A speedy recovery is always good.

It's been cool and rainy here but on a positive note I don't have to water the lawn.

Good thing: I feel off my bike yesterday, but didn't break anything!

That is a good thing! I fell off my bike once and broke my arm and required surgery!

Very glad to hear everyone seems to have avoided complete destruction!

One good thing is that I attended a book launch the other night starring members of the local Canadian Mental Health Association branch. Fantastic talent!

I'm unexpectedly home with my family for the weekend. When my husband asks me to come, I don't exactly need a lot of persuading!

I went to a class with my dog this weekend, and we both learned a lot!

Today it was hot! Unlike the unseasonably low temperatures we've been getting. 29 above and although I'm usually not a fan of heat, I'm not complaining! I brought my potted flowers inside for a night or two recently, but now they're back outside and blooming

I noticed a few of our flowers still thriving. We will enjoy them until the first frost.

Today I finally got around to going through a closet and boxing up a bunch of things I don't need. Now all I have to do is get them to the second hand store!

Tomorrow I'm going to go hiking and enjoy it, rain or shine.
