Defeat Depression is a national mental health fundraising campaign created by MDSC that supports local community mental health organizations. All across Canada, volunteers organize walks, runs and other physical and social activities to raise funds to be used locally.

“Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC) wishes to thank VIA Rail Canada for their national sponsorship of the Defeat Depression campaign by donating both the Grand Prize travel package and the Secondary prize travel voucher. Their sponsorship brought additional excitement to the 2018 Defeat Depression events and encouraged even more people to take part in supporting the mental health programs and services in their local communities.”
