Gaby Gilles holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Ottawa and brings experience in client-centered service and community support through roles with the City of Ottawa, Service Canada, and recently as a Housing Case Manager. He has supported diverse populations in accessing government programs, community resources, and essential services.

Gaby was drawn to work with the Mood Disorders Society of Canada because of his commitment to mental health and community well-being. His experience working with vulnerable populations, including ODSP clients, homeless youth and individuals facing mental health challenges, has strengthened his passion for advocacy, recovery, and person-centered support.

Beyond his professional work, Gaby is a dedicated fitness advocate and community leader who volunteers with the Hispaniola Youth Foundation, where he supports youth education and community engagement initiatives in Haiti and the Dominican Rep.

In his personal life, Gaby is passionate about soccer, fitness, and travel. A former semi-professional soccer player and licensed FIFA agent, he enjoys staying connected to the sport while exploring new cultures and destinations.
