MDSC IT Specialist (Salesforce)
The Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC) is seeking a motivated, flexible, reliable individual for the volunteer role of Information Technology Specialist to train and support MDSC staff in their use of the relationship management service, Salesforce. Playing a key role at MDSC, the Information Technology Specialist will support the impact of MDSC by acting as the go-to person for questions or issues regarding Salesforce. This is an unpaid volunteer position reporting to Program Manager, Ken Porter
Position Details
- The estimated time commitment for this position is 3-5 hours per week.
- We ask for a minimum commitment of one year for this position.
Qualifications
- Experience working with CRM databases such as Salesforce and/or the initiative to become a Salesforce expert.
- Ability to work independently, reliably, punctually and collaboratively from a virtual workspace.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting to groups.
- Demonstrated understanding of mental illness, the mental health field, and/or lived experience with depression.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working or volunteering in the non-profit sector.
