
Bio – Aliya Lucatch
National Sustainability Manager with Mood Disorders Society of Canada
Aliya Lucatch is an experienced fundraising strategist who has worked with a variety of charitable organizations, managing campaign goals from $100,000 to over $10 million. She has over four years’ experience in the mental health field, with a focus on depression. Aliya has a deep passion for mental health advocacy, supporting community mental health initiatives, and advancing innovative approaches to treating mental illness. Her commitment to the field was fueled by her personal lived experience with depression and anxiety, as well as familial loss by suicide.
Her expertise extends to strategic planning, research, and fundraising, with a focus on helping organizations to form meaningful and strategic partnerships that reflect the communities served. Aliya brings her dedication to improving mental health to the Mood Disorders Society of Canada, where she aims to further support and promote mental health awareness and treatment.
