The Dr. Barbara Everett Award for Young Researchers with Lived Experience recognizes Young Researchers with Lived Experience who have demonstrated significant contributions in the field of mental health, emphasizing knowledge dissemination and innovative approaches.

Nominees should have a track record of at least two (2) years in the field, showcasing sustained and impactful contributions. Nominations should encompass a brief introduction and a summary (150 words or less) delineating the nominee’s contributions to enhancing mental health and knowledge dissemination in Canada. Furthermore, the nomination should incorporate the following details:

  • A succinct biography (as an attachment)
  • A delineation of how the nominee’s work significantly differs and stands out in the field
  • The impact on the mental health community – longevity in the community
  • A comprehensive current curriculum vitae of the nominee and contact information including full name, mailing address, phone number(s), and email address (as an attachment)
