Mood Disorders Society of Canada is very pleased to announce that Christine Socasau of Vancouver, has taken up the Andean Volcano Challenge which starts in less than a month. She will be raising funds for the Mood Disorders Society of Canada’s Elephant in the Room anti-stigma program.

Christine will join close to 100 fellow HSBC employees from around the world in Quito, Ecuador to hike 100 km over 5 days (backpacking and sleeping under the stars at 4,300 m (over 14,000ft) altitude). Their hike will support a shared goal – which is to raise funds and awareness of mental health, supporting dozens of mental health organizations world-wide such as the Mood Disorders Society of Canada.
