Bio – Dr. Tracey Lynn Trudeau
Dr. Tracey Lynn Trudeau, Senior Consultant, Department of Engagement & Patient Experience, Alberta Health Services.
Tracey has been involved in health care and education in various capacities, both as a direct service provider and leader, for well over two decades. Her roles have included community outreach work in sexual health and mental health, school psychologist, mental health therapist, clinical supervisor, university instructor, provincial program manager, strategic advisor for operations change management, and policy development working directly with provincial ministers offices of health and education. Most recently, Tracey works as a senior consultant for Alberta Health Services in the area of provincial health strategy for patient & family centred care.
Tracey has a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta, and has particular interest in the field of performance anxiety in high ability youth. She also supports or is involved with various charitable causes and community activities that encompass youth, positive mental health, fitness/wellness, ethical leadership, equality in sports, and mentorship. Tracey is also passionately committed to supporting and sponsoring professional athlete development in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and engages in related consultative activities.
